The Way of the Cross: A Spokane Pilgrimage

On Good Friday 2026, Grace Commons joined ecumenical congregations including, Salem Lutheran Church, Bethany Presbyterian, Westminster United Church of Christ, St Mark’s Lutheran Church, the West Central Abbey and Faith Action Network for a pilgrimage through downtown. Following the stations of the cross, we lamented the suffering experienced by our immigrant and refugee neighbors.
Prayer and Solidarity with the Haitian Community

In partnership with Jasmin Ministries and First Presbyterian Church, Grace Commons participated in an evening of prayer and solidarity with Spokane’s Haitian Community in early February. The evening included storytelling, collaborative worship, a delicious Haitian meal, and a diverse community joining our voices in praying for the extension of Temporary Protected Status for Haitian refugees in the United States.
